Tragedy! Man's Corpse Found In Ojutu River In Osun (Graphic Picture)


A yet to be identified elderly man has been found dead at a river bank around Omoleye Secondary School, Ojutu Area, Ilobu, Osun state.

Account of the sympathizers AFAM News was privy to, revealed that the deceased who is from Alawo's Compound in Ilobu has been missing for four days, and the family members have been in panicky mood, searching every nooks and crannies of the town, but all to no avail.

A family member who would not want his name mentioned said " My Dad was a famer when he was alive. He left home four days ago, and since then, we have been looking for him but we couldn't find him".

"It was this morning, after several search, some people put a call through us that a body was found in Ojutu river".

According to him, "Fire Service Officials and Policemen have come to take his photographs but, we brought out the body from the river by ourselves because the corpse is already swollen and fishes have been feeding on him already".

However, the deceased death has been regarded as a mysterious one, suggesting that he might have lost his balance and thereby slipped from the slippery part of the river bank owing to the heavy downpour of Friday afternoon which made the river to full to capacity.

As at the time of filing this report, the family members have already synergized on burial rite which was said would be conducted by the river bank.
