Ahah!! 35-year-old Mechanic Remanded For Stealing Two Goats

One Akintunde Iwayemi on Friday arraigned before a Okitipupa Magistrate Court in Ondo State for stealing two goats valued #25,000.

The 35 years old who is a mechanic was said to have stolen the goats belonging to one Abbas Aladeloye.

The police Prosecutor, Insp. Zadekiah Orogbemi told the court the accused person committed heinous crime on Dec. 17 around 5:30am  at Ayeka New Site in Okitipupa. Adding that the offence contravened sections 516 and 390 (9) Criminal Code Laws of Ondo State, 2006.

The accused person pleaded not guilty to the two counts of Felony and stealing preferred against him. 

The Chief Magistrate, Mr Musa Al-Yunus, thereafter granted Iwayemi bail in the sum of N50,000, with a surety in like sum.

He said that the surety must show evidence of a year tax payment to Ondo State government, and adjourned the case till Jan. 30 for further hearing.
